A decentralized domain name system on a blockchain. You acquire HNS cryptocurrency and register your domain name with that cryptocurrency. Prices are based on bids for the name. The winner gets the name for the 2nd best bid price and aside from the mining fees, the rest of the crypto is burned (no one gets it). This has a deflationary effect on the HNS cryptocurrency. You then update your name records to point to your decentralized (or centralized) content. Currently (as of January 2021) the only browser that directly supports namebase DNS is the Puma mobile browser.

It will work without central servers.
It's unknown or not applicable as to how user accounts are handled. Monetization is uncensorable and unstoppable with cryptocurrencies.
