A centralized, paid website service that lets you easily PIN and publish your content to IPFS without running your own IPFS nodes. The main feature is that they ensure a copy of your content is always available on IPFS. IPFS works by replicating your data as people access it. But if they don't access your content for some time, it eventually gets dropped off of the IPFS nodes. Unless you have it pinned, either on your own node or via someone else's (like Pinata's), then your content disappears from the internet.
Decentralization
Pinata will not work without centralized DNS.
It will not work without central servers.
User accounts are not in the user's control. They're controlled by the service provider. An uncensorable and unstoppable monetization system is NOT supported.
